If your organization is planning to sell chances to win a prize or prizes, you will need a Jersey County Raffle Permit.  Only organizations which are non-profit in nature may legally hold a raffle.  More details can be found in the Jersey County Raffle Ordinance.  To obtain a permit, please complete the Raffle Permit Application.  The application must be signed in person at the County Clerk’s office by the organizer of the event.  The cost for the permit is $10.

The same regulations apply to poker runs where the stops are primarily located in Jersey County.  A Poker Run Permit Application must be likewise filed with the county clerk, and the cost is $10.
